Cancellation Policy: Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 10 days or more prior notice of cancellation. If you contact us after 10 days we will pro-rate the reservation as follows: 10 Days — 100% 9 Days — 90% 8 Days — 80% 7 Days — 70% 6 Days — 60% 5 Days — 50% 4 Days — 40% 3 Days — 30% 2 Days — 20% 1 Day — 10% 0 Days — 0% Call to reschedule at no cost. If weather is poor on your day, please call and work out a reschedule date with us.
Safety Instructions
- Boat will only start in neutral- Button on the side of throttle is your trim (moves motor up or down)
- Make sure the engine is always in water while running, water will shoot out if the engine is trimmed properly, if the water stops, lower the motor.
- Turning first, then accelerating will result in a sharper turn- Go BETWEEN the 6 sets of RED and GREEN buoys
- Stay OUTSIDE of all area's marked with WHITE buoys, Stay away from marked divers
- Go through the middle of the 2 peninsulas on East Caroga (all locations will be shown by instructor on your map provided)
- When in the canal, speed limit is 5 MPH with no wake behind the boat- Please do not trespass on lake owners' property, all floating objects are privately owned.
- Only 1 boat will fit under the bridge at once, so please give the right of way if you're not under the bridge
- When going under the bridge, Bimini must be put down, Release the strap on front part of Bimini, take pin out of back arm of Bimini, gently lower to the back of the boat (instructor can help you with this)
- Inside boat you will have 1 anchor, 1 Emergency paddle, 1 Fire Extinguisher, 12-15Orange life jackets and 1 emergency float
- Other items provided by request: Fishing poles + tacklebox
- Not permitted to enter the boat: Any sort of grill, Towable Tubes, Weapons, anything illegal etc…
- Each boat has a weight capacity, please check with instructor if you're going to be near or over 1200 pounds. Evenly distribute the weight.
- When swimming THE ENGINE HAS TO BE OFF, no one touches the water with a running engine. Nothing can be pulled by the boats.
- When using the anchor, please clean it before bringing back onto boat, do not try to anchor in the middle of east or west Caroga, the depth of the water is more than the length of the anchor.

I AMVOLUNTARILY PARTICIPATING IN THIS ACTIVITY WITH KNOWLEDGE OF THE DANGERS INVOLVED, AND IHEREBY AGREE TO ACCEPT FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE RISKS INVOLVED. Please initialing consideration of being allowed to use the facilities of Caroga Lake Marina, LLC:I agree that I will not sue, or otherwise make any claim against Caroga Lake Marina, LLC, any other sponsors/providers, or their employees, agents, and contractors, for any loss, injury or damage resulting from participation in launching, docking, and boating activities. I agree that Caroga Lake Marina, LLC, any other sponsors/providers, and their employees, agents, and contractors, shall not be legally responsible for any loss, injury or damage resulting from any cause, including negligence of Caroga Lake Marina, LLC, its employees, agents, contractors, servants, assigns or any other party herein.3.I agree that use of the launching/docking/boating facilities will be according to the rules and instructions of Caroga Lake Marina, LLC.4.I agree that any equipment that I provide or may borrow or rent from Caroga Lake Marina, LLC, I use at my own risk. I understand and agree that Caroga Lake Marina, LLC shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury resulting from the use or suitability of said equipment. Caroga Lake Marina, LLC makes no warranties of any kind regarding this equipment.5.To the fullest extent allowed by law, I agree to RELEASE, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS Caroga Lake Marina,LLC, its employees, agents, contractors, servants, assigns or any other party herein from all actions or claims from myself,my heirs, personal representatives or any other third party for any loss, injury, or damage resulting from participating inlaunching, docking and boating activities, including the use of any equipment.6.I understand that I may be photographed by Caroga Lake Marina, LLC. I agree to allow my photo/video or film likeness, orreproductions thereof made through any media, including any electronic media, to be copyrighted and used for any legitimatepurpose of Caroga Lake Marina, LLC or its assigns. To the fullest extent allowed by law, I hereby waive any rights ofpublicity or privacy that I may have in my name or likeness.7.The terms of this Release shall also be binding as to any other persons, including all family members, heirs/executors, oradministrators, and including any minors that may accompany me. I understand this is a binding contract that supersedes anyother agreements of representations and is intended to provide a comprehensive release of liability, but is not intended toassert any defenses that are prohibited by law. The specific rights of the parties may vary from state to state. If any part ofthis Release is deemed unenforceable, all other parts shall be given full force and effect.8.I agree to indemnify, release and hold harmless Caroga Lake Marina, LLC, its employees, agents, contractors, servants,assigns or any other third party herein from any cause of action brought by a third person as a result of the operation or use of9.any equipment by any minor.If I am signing on behalf of a minor, in addition to the above, I also agree to RELEASE, HOLD HARMLESS ANDINDEMNIFY Caroga Lake Marina, LLC, any other sponsors/providers, and their employees, agents and contractors for10.any claims of the minor. I agree to be responsible for any medical expenses incurred by the minor. The use of drugs and/or alcohol prior to the use of the equipment, during the use and operation of the equipment is11.prohibited.I am legally competent to sign this Release or my parent or legal guardian has also read and signed this Release.I HAVE CAREFULLY READ AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THIS AGREEMENT, AND I AMAWARE THAT BYSIGNING THIS AGREEMENT I AMWAIVING CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE.
